Story Bahamas2006 created by Michael Newman |
Polly Brett and Mike flew Lancair N776CM to Great Harbor Cay in the Bahamas for a few days of sun, sand and sleep.

Here is the view out the window of our Plane sitting on the ramp on the Island. The jet in the background belongs to Jack Nicklaus.
Just barely visible at the right of the frame is where we stayed. The house is actually in a cluster of three houses all owned by the same German family.
This is what you go for.
The house was nicely appointed. The TV had more satellite channels than we get at home.
Taking a tour of the living room, this photo looks to the back side of the house, away from the ocean.
Directly opposite Polly and Brett is this view out to the Ocean.
This is the view from the front porch of the house.
The two bedrooms were modest in size and simple. This master bedroom was at the front of the house...
...with a view out to the ocean.
Days were simple. Long walks on the beach.
A little shelling.
...and a lazy stop in the shade.
Lots of reading got done, Polly and Brett are sitting on the front porch of the house.
As we left we got a few pictures of the island to remember it by.
