   Release 3.10.14 9/1/98
*******************************************************

NOTE: Only the G3PD Private Data Library has been updated in this release.
It now contains suppport for G3V5 features.

SERVER CONFIGURATION FILE:

In order to locate Telephony Servers via TCP/IP, you must provide host
address and port number information in the file /usr/lib/tslibrc, which
includes basic instructions on the correct file format.

The pathname of an alternate configuration file may be specified in the
TSLIBRC environment variable, or you may place a ".tslibrc" file
(notice the ".") in your HOME directory. In these cases, it is recommended
that you use /usr/lib/tslibrc as a template.

G3PD PRIVATE DATA LIBRARY:

This package includes a shared object library, libattpriv.sl, which provides
a set of functions for encoding and decoding private data as supported by the
Definity G3 PBX Driver. If you are running an application that takes advantage
of special features in the Definity G3 PBX, it will need to use this library.
NOTE: this component used to be installed separately. The separate installation
is no longer required.

TEST APPLICATION:

This package includes a small test program called "tstest". By default, it is
copied to the /usr/lib directory. Its purpose is to verify connectivity between
client workstations and the Telephony Server. It is highly recommended that you
establish basic sanity of your configuration using this test before attempting
to use your application software.

It allows a server to be chosen from a list of all advertising telephony servers
and prompts for a login, password, calling party and called party phone numbers.
It then attempts to open an ACS stream to the specified Telephony Server and
make a call from calling party to called party. If the stream cannot be opened
or the call cannot be made, a message is displayed indicating the error code
that was returned.
